
A man in Henry County was left seriously injured after a stabbing incident said to stem from an argument inside a residence turned violent, law enforcement officials reported. The altercation occurred at a home on East Washington Street in Paris, Tenn., according to multiple sources. WKRN reported that the Paris Police Department was called to the scene at approximately 5 p.m. on April 7, when officers discovered a man outside the residence "bleeding profusely."
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, received first aid at the scene and was initially taken to Henry County Medical Center, local authorities confirmed later he was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for further treatment, and it was not clear whether the suspects involved in the incident have been apprehended, or their identities established and the investigation was said by Chief Ricky Watson to determine the stabbing was an isolated incident, ensuring “no danger to the public” in a statement obtained by WKRN.
