The tumult unfolded near Southwest Park Avenue and Southwest Yamhill Street when Central Precinct officers received a distress call around 5:45 p.m. on April 1. Upon arrival, they discovered the male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. In the wake of the chaos, the assailants had already evaporated into the city's veins, authorities told the Portland Police Bureau.
The injured man was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, and he's expected to recover from his injuries, which were deemed non-life-threatening.
