In a deadly incident leaving one man deceased, Memphis Police are currently investigating a shooting that transpired Wednesday night in Parkway Village. According to WREG, officers were called to the 4800 block of Cloister Avenue shortly before the clock struck 11 p.m., where they discovered a man who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Memphis Police Department has not released the identity of the victim as of yet, however, they are appealing to the public for any information that might shed light on this case. In a statement obtained by Action News 5, a local news station, confirmed that the man was found dead once police arrived.

The region of Parkway Village, now marred by this latest act of violence, finds itself in an ever-repeating cycle of tragedy and loss.
