According to Action News 5, the incident occurred in March at the Ridgecrest Apartments located at 2537 Woodcliff Drive. The attack, captured on video, shows victims asleep in a vehicle being jolted awake by a barrage of gunshots from a passing gray Chevrolet Malibu.

Surveillance footage provided critical details, including the make and model of the suspect's vehicle and the Tennessee license plate BRH160. In an early morning ambush, bullets were unleashed on the unsuspecting victims as gray Malibu encircled their parked car. "A suspect from the Malibu continued to fire shots at the victims as they left the complex," narrated the disturbing report detailed by FOX13 Memphis. The shooters left the scene with their vehicle reportedly suffering damage on its driver's side rear panel.

One victim, whose peace was shattered by the unsolicited violence, was injured and required hospitalization at Regional One Hospital.
