Millington police are on the lookout for a bold thief who managed to smoothly make off with five chainsaws from a local Lowe's store. The suspect, a male whose identity remains unknown, took his pick of Husqvarna chainsaws from the store's display on February 23, WREG reports.
The chainsaws, each valued at $449, were securely cabled. Yet this did not deter the masked man, who is said to have grabbed bolt cutters, effortlessly to cut through the cable guards. CCTV footage captured the moment he placed the tools into his cart and nonchalantly exited the store without completing a purchase, Action News 5 reveals.
Following the incident, the Millington Police Department have quickly responded by sharing images of the suspect and his vehicle—a small white SUV believed to be a Nissan Rogue "The man pushed his cart over to the chainsaws—which were cabled and on display," recounted a Millington police spokesperson.
