The situation didn't improve much when he set up shop right in his bathroom amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, using his bathtub as a stand for his equipment – an act of ingenuity that led to a publication in Science Robotics. In a statement obtained by MIT News, Mirvakili said, "There are so many people who don't have access to labs yet have great ideas, we need to make it easier for them to bring their experiments to life."

True to his word, Seron's products dubbed the SE Programmable Power Platforms, aim to revolutionize the DIY world of science experiments. These devices enable users to source and measure electrical parameters with unmatched precision, suited for a diverse range of applications such as studying semiconductor devices, optimizing battery charging, or even testing chips for quality control.

Already, the practical uses for Seron's gadgets are blowing away the scientific community. One nonprofit research organization reportedly used the equipment to discover a new sensor material heading for commercialization. These devices, virtually plug-and-play and intuitive to use, cut down significantly on the time-to-results in research endeavors. "Our system is so intuitive, you reduce the time to get results, you can set it up in less than five minutes," Mirvakili boasted, according to a report by MIT News. This allows scholars to leap over the technical hurdles and dive straight into the heart of innovation.

Mirvakili sees his technology as enabling new scientific breakthroughs from anywhere. Seron's upcoming budget-friendly, portable release aims to make scientific experimentation accessible to all. "Anyone who has a good idea should be able to turn that idea into reality with our equipment and solutions," says Mirvakili in a statement obtained by MIT News, aiming to spark a renaissance of discoveries. Seron's devices promise not just technical excellence but also creative freedom for researchers worldwide under Mirvakili's leadership.
