
Another busy week ahead for the Morrison County Board of Commissioners, with a lineup of meetings spanning from permits for lawful gambling to public works and public safety. Residents of Little Falls and the surrounding areas should take note, as these gatherings could impact local policies and initiatives.
The schedule was released in an announcement and is packed with dual sessions on the morning of April 2. A special board meeting is slated for 8:30 am in the County Board Room to deliberate a permit for lawful gambling. Following directly, the planning session will commence, presumably to address future undertakings of the Board. Both events will be hosted at the Government Center in Little Falls, MN, as reported by Morrison County.
That same evening, at 6:00 pm, a PC/BOA Meeting will take place, rounding off a day heavy with governance and planning. Morrison County's wheels of progress continue to turn with gatherings such as the Legislative Committee of SECB, set for a virtual rendezvous at 10:00 am on April 4. The day will further unfold with a virtual Public Safety Conference Advisory Committee meeting at 3:00 pm, and later, the TCC Annual Meeting held at Great River Arts is expected to gather many from the community.
Midweek will see matters of roads and infrastructure taking the front seat at an 8:30 am Public Works Planning session on April 5, according to Morrison County. This meeting, significant to the citizens reliant on the county's public works system, will occur in the Public Works Building. Then, in an event honoring those keeping the community safe, the Public Safety Recognition Conference will assemble at 5:00 pm in the Hangar Building at Camp Ripley, MN. The ceremony will undoubtedly reflect the county's gratitude towards its protectors.
