Those planning for the weekend can look forward to sunny skies, as the Weather Service forecasts a clear Saturday, with highs soaring near 78 degrees and calming west winds between 5 to 10 mph. The good weather appears to stretch into Sunday with mostly sunny conditions, and temperatures peaking around 82 degrees, complemented by a breezy southwest wind blowing 10 to 15 mph, and gusts up to 30 mph.
As reported by the National Weather Service, the onset of the next workweek will continue the warm trend, with Monday's high forecasted to be near 84 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The evening should bring an increase in cloud coverage, setting the stage for a mostly cloudy Tuesday with a high near 82, accompanied by strong south winds and gusts that could hit 30 mph.
However, residents should keep their rain gear close by for mid-week. Chances of showers are to sharply increase Tuesday night, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m. The chance of precipitation is pegged at 60 percent. Weather patterns for Wednesday include a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the mercury hitting a high around 83, while Thursday also sees a chance of precipitation with a high near 86.
