Chaos erupted at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes on Friday when a fight among students lead to pepper spray being deployed, prompting medical treatment for affected students and staff. As reported by Local 10 News, the incident brought paramedics to the scene to attend to several individuals, though thankfully, there were no serious injuries or hospital transports reported.

The altercation, which took place within the school premises at 3050 NW 41st St., quickly escalated as one student chose to use pepper spray in the midst of the conflict. Sky 10 captured images of two people being temporarily detained by police at the school, with students visibly in distress as paramedics hastily worked to wash their faces. A statement obtained by Local 10 News from the school district affirmed that "the situation is under control and classes are operating on their regular schedule."

According to WSVN, a total of five students and one staff member received medical attention last Friday. Footage provided to 7News showed a crowded scene with students gathered in the hallways, and deputies on site trying to restore order to the high school environment.
