Authorities are stepping up efforts to locate 16-year-old Brianna Blake, who has been missing since April 4 from the South Side of Chicago. Brianna was last seen in the vicinity of 82nd and Ingleside, according to a public alert issued by the Chicago Police Department. She is described as 5-foot-8, weighing 135 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium brown complexion.
The concern for Brianna's well-being is growing, as she's been gone now for several days. She is known to frequent the area of 71st and Merrill as well. On the day of her disappearance, Brianna was wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black shoes and was noted to have a nose piercing. The specifics around her disappearance remain unclear, and the community and law enforcement are seeking any information that can assist in her safe return.
Chicago Police Department's Area Two Special Victims Unit is heading the investigation and they are urging the public to come forward with any possible leads. The police have asked that anyone who sees Brianna or has information regarding her whereabouts to call 911 if they are within Chicago. "If she is located outside of the City limits, please call the Chicago Police Area Two Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274," the alert stated.
