Law enforcement officials in Tamarac are ramping up their search for a 55-year-old man, Josue Joseph, who went missing on Monday afternoon. As reported by Local 10 News, Joseph was last seen around the 8000 block of Northwest 96th Terrace, sparking concern from his family who note his struggle with mental illness.
Joseph is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, he was last spotted wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt,, black shirt, gray sweatpants, and no shoes. Detective Chris Blankenship is leading the search and urges anyone with information to come forward.
The BSO has distributed Joseph's description and the details of his last known whereabouts in the hopes that public assistance can aid in his safe return. WSVN further highlighted the urgency of the situation, making a call to action for the community to help locate the missing man.
