Authorities have nabbed a 16-year-old in connection with a deadly shooting at a Lewisville hookah lounge that left one teen dead and another injured, the local police department reported.
The incident, which escalated from a brawl into gunfire at the Luxor Hookah Lounge located at 1600 block of South SH-121 Business, occurred on the night of March 29 with police receiving the distress call at approximately 11:44 p.m; Jayden Tramaine Anderson, 19, did not survive the chaos and another man sustained injuries that were not deemed life-threatening.
The juvenile suspect was apprehended on April 2 at Xquisite Smoke Shop, 1348 W. Main Street, and is now facing a murder charge, said authorities. Adhering to legal protections for minors, law enforcement has not disclosed the suspect's name nor his image.
