Authorities have made multiple arrests in a fatal shooting that has rocked the small town of Homerville, Georgia. Shea Foster, 19, Roma Cooper, 34, and Lenard Perkins, 35, have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 25-year-old Raheem Poole, according to a release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Foster, implicated in the murder, turned himself in on Monday, April 22, after a warrant was out for his arrest for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault. Cooper and, Perkins were arrested the following day with Cooper facing charges for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Making False Statements, and Perkins for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Making False Statements, and Tampering with Evidence. The trio’s arrests were the result of cooperative efforts by the Homerville Police Department and the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office, as per the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The investigation took a turn when, just over a week prior to the arrests, another Homerville man, Phillip White, 33, was charged with Aggravated Assault in connection to Poole’s death. Poole was found dead from suspected gunshot wounds following a 911 call about a shooting near Happyville Lane and Old Fargo Road on April 14. The Homerville Police Department then sought assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into the matter more deeply. In the course of the investigation, it was determined that White assaulted Foster prior to the shooting that led to Poole's death.
