A social media sale went south for a young seller on the MBTA when a would-be buyer turned out to be a thief. The juvenile, whose identity has been withheld, arranged to sell a Gucci belt to an unknown buyer. According to a post on X by the MBTA Transit Police, the transaction was set to take place at the Revere Beach station at around 3 PM on April 2.
4/2 3PM #MBTA Revere Beach male juvenile via a social media app agreed to sell a Gucci belt to a party unknown to him. Once at station the victim was set upon & robbed of his belongings to include the belt. Transit Police detectives are investigating the incident.
