
A grim discovery in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood as a 27-year-old woman was found shot to death inside her home, law enforcement officials confirm. According to Chicago police, the lifeless body of Tetorsha T. Williams was located on the floor of her kitchen with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers arrived at the scene in the 1400 block of South St. Louis Avenue around 3 p.m. Thursday while conducting a well-being check, they found Williams, a resident of the 1800 block of South Central Avenue, unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the gruesome scene, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The Cook County medical examiner's office has confirmed the identification of the victim; however, details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain a mystery as detectives diligently piece together the events that led to this tragedy.
