The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) has rolled out a new campaign, "50 Stories, One Mission," targeting the enlistment of over 50 dedicated members to join the State Trooper Academy Class set to commence in October, each recruit expected to contribute their personal narrative to the rich tapestry of the state trooper force, enhancing its strength through diversity and dedication.
As a part of the initiative, AZDPS is putting a spotlight on the unique backgrounds and individual tales that shape the collective experience of the troopers, with Lieutenant Colonel Jenna Mitchell, Assistant Director of the Agency Support Division underscoring the pivotal role that state troopers play in the community as she says "State troopers play a critical role in maintaining public safety” and “Their dedication, courage, and unwavering commitment to protecting our citizens make Arizona safer," in a statement gathered by AZDPS’s own news desk.
In a bid to entice potential recruits, AZDPS is touting a competitive package which includes complete medical, dental, and vision benefits, generous paid leave options, tuition reimbursement schemes, provision of assigned take-home vehicles, and a plethora of specialty assignments and promotional openings.
Those pondering a career with the state troopers are directed to AZDPS’s recruitment page, where they'll find all the necessary details regarding application steps, requisite qualifications and a sweeping review of the perks that accompany a career serving as an Arizona State Trooper, all of this is part of AZDPS’s mission to not only enforce public safety but also to set a precedent at the national level when it comes to state-level policing.
