After a night at a popular Buckhead bar, a man was allegedly assaulted and robbed of his $40,000 watch. Atlanta police responded to 3660 Peachtree Rd NE around 2:30 a.m. on April 28, where they found the victim, who claimed he was attacked after leaving Johnny’s Hideaway. According to police reports, the man, who was intoxicated, accepted a ride from a woman, unaware that a male stranger was already in the back of the dark-colored Tesla.
As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, the ride culminated at the man's residence where the woman abruptly demanded his watch. Resisting the request, he was allegedly met with violence from both the woman and the other male, culminating in the theft of his Audemars Piguet watch. In a statement obtained by Atlanta News First, the victim recounted how the situation rapidly devolved following their arrival at his home.
The Atlanta Police Department is now turning to the public in hopes of identifying the suspects involved in this incident. They are reaching out for tips and information, urging anyone who might know something to come forward.
