The Brentwood Police Department is reaching out to the public to aid in the search for a missing teenager, Demari Powell. Described as 5’2" and weighing around 120 pounds, the 15-year-old was last seen on the morning of May 8, when she was dropped off at Heritage High School. It was later confirmed by authorities that she didn't show up to her classes. The police now suspect she might have traveled to the San Francisco area.
Demari Powell has distinctive black hair and brown eyes and was last spotted wearing a red crop top paired with blue jeans, a black and white polka dot belt, black and white shoes, and a rose quartz Buddha necklace. With a scar marking her forehead and two tattoos—a cross on her right forearm and an evil eye on her right hand—she's easy to identify in a crowd. Despite being known to hang around downtown Brentwood, she didn't show up there following her disappearance.
The public is urged to come forward with any details that could assist in locating her. Anyone with information about Powell's whereabouts can contact the Brentwood PD Dispatch at 925-809-7911. Those preferring to remain anonymous have the option to do so. In emergencies, dialing 9-1-1 is recommended. The department's appeal for help was also posted on its official Facebook page, which includes a picture of Powell for identification purposes.
