
Early Sunday morning tragedy struck in Dallas when Tacara Nashay Reese-Windom, 23, was fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle. Dallas Police were dispatched to the scene at the 500 block of S. Carroll Avenue after receiving a shooting call, as reported by the Dallas Police Department.
Authorities say that, when they arrived around 4:05 a.m. on May 27, they discovered Reese-Windom with gunshot wounds. She was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. In the backdrop of an otherwise peaceful neighborhood, this incident has left residents reeling from the senseless violence. Also caught in the fray was a 5-month-old child, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, and was subsequently taken to the hospital for evaluation.
