
A violent car crash in Clarksville sent one driver flying from his vehicle and prompted an urgent airlift to a Nashville hospital, authorities said. The Clarksville Police Department reported that the two-car collision occurred last night on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway just before the intersection with Whitfield Road, as per WKRN.
The ejecting incident took place around 8:20 p.m., prompting a response from the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT). The unidentified motorist's condition remains unknown following the urgent care received, which included a helicopter flight to Nashville for treatment. FACT Investigator Crosby was on the scene and is overseeing the investigation. Following the collision, the eastbound lanes of 101st Airborne Division Parkway were closed off at Peachers Mill Road. The roadway has since reopened, just before 12:30 a.m. today.
