Chaos struck a Phoenix neighborhood early Sunday morning when a driver plowed into a home, causing significant damage but miraculously leaving residents and the driver with only minor injuries. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. near 19th Avenue and Roeser Road, as reported by FOX10 Phoenix. Video footage from the scene displayed a truck embedded in the side of a residence, with a substantial portion of the structure compromised due to the impact.
Police quickly arrived on the scene to find the home's occupants unharmed and the driver present with minor injuries. "When officers arrived, they were able to find the occupants of the home who were uninjured. The driver of the car was also on scene with minor injuries," authorities stated, as per FOX10 Phoenix. Meanwhile, the investigation continues to adequately determine what led to the crash, with details still emerging.
As of now, law enforcement officers have not disclosed whether the driver will face any charges, maintaining focus on piecing together the sequence of events that caused the vehicle to abruptly collide with the house. The driver was transported to the hospital to further assess and treat minor injuries, according to ABC15.
