A 2023 Volkswagen, operated by 56-year-old Alexander Utkin, collided with Gudla around 9:30 p.m. near the vicinity of Mizner Court Apartments, as per CBS12's reporting. After the incident, the victim received urgent medical attention but sadly succumbed to her injuries, the authorities said.
Further details provided by the Boca Raton Police Department reveal Gudla was crossing "mid-block", a point on the roadway where no designated crosswalk is present, according to CBS12. Current reports do not specify if charges have been filed against Utkin following the tragic event.
