Jet-setting from the Valley to the Lone Star State just got easier, as public charter jet service JSX announced on May 20th the launch of a new nonstop route from Scottsdale to Dallas, starting this fall. Valley residents can now skip the layovers and head straight for Dallas' Love Field with nonstop service kicking off on Oct. 3, ABC 15 reported. The route will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, perfect for the weekend getaway or the business traveler aiming to bypass the crowds.
Adding to Scottsdale's travel roster, the Dallas route is JSX’s latest strategic move after recently introducing a Scottsdale-Orange County connection. "When Customers ask, JSX delivers, and our dedicated fliers have been requesting a link between Dallas and Scottsdale since we first established our headquarters in the Lone Star State," JSX CEO Alex Wilcox said in a bold promise, according to a statement reported by ABC 15. JSX, founded in 2016, is known for its breezy 30-seat flights that boast business class legroom, sans middle seats.
JSX, marketing itself on convenient check-ins and intimate flight experiences, had previously operated from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport but switched to Scottsdale Airport, which was revealed in an announcement by Experience Scottsdale. Flights out of Nashville were recently suspended, with a representative clarifying it was to better utilize the fleet where most needed, mentioned in a March issue of Nashville Business Journal.
Scottsdale travelers have a growing list of destinations to choose from with JSX. The carrier, with daily public charter flights stretching across major hubs in Arizona, Nevada, New York and beyond, adds Dallas to the existing lineup of Las Vegas, Denver, and Burbank routes. Flying with JSX from Scottsdale Airport means enjoying perks like power outlets in every row—the kind of detail that makes flying feel less like a chore and more like a part of the vacation, Business Journal reported.
