The Memphis Police Department has called on the community to aid in the search for a missing 61-year-old man, David Woods, who vanished over a week ago. According to a statement obtained by Local Memphis, Woods was last seen on the 2000 block of Covington Pike on May 18. He stands 6 feet, 2 inches tall, is bald with a goatee, and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

The authorities have urged the public to keep an eye out for Woods, who is believed to be at risk due to a potentially altered state of mind that might make it difficult for him to safely return home. The Action News 5 report highlighted concerns for his well-being as no contact has been made with his family since his disappearance. He was known to have last departed from his workplace at a local car dealership.

As part of the efforts to locate Woods, the MPD has shared a description of the vehicle he might be driving—a gold four-door 2013 Ford Edge with Mississippi license plates DAL670, as per Action News 5. This could be a key detail in helping anyone to recognize the missing individual.
