In an effort to satisfy a growing fanbase, Touma's new 2,100-square-foot eatery will start dishing out its signature beefy tacos at 3365 Rosecrans Street in the bustling Loma Square shopping center.
As an opening special, Mike’s Red Tacos is planning to set the scene with a fiesta vibe by offering one free taco to the first 50 people in line, come 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31. The move, described on the restaurant's Instagram announcement, promises to add some sizzle to the weekend for San Diego's taco aficionados. The menu isn't limited to the standard fare, it's also spiced up with items such as birria ramen, loaded nachos and the "CrunchStack", a twist on a Taco Bell classic.
According to Eater San Diego, the expanded menu is built on the foundation of chili oil-dipped tortillas crisped to perfection and paired with slow-simmered beef. This secret has carved out a niche for Mike's Red Tacos in the saturated San Diego food scene. Delights such as California burritos and quesadillas add variety to their well-received lineup.
