Two 19-year-old men have been taken into custody by the Metro Nashville Police Department in a crackdown on motor vehicle thefts and the illegal sale of firearms and drugs. Thierry Bwenge and Omar Diouf now face multiple charges after their arrest on Thursday afternoon.
The police action arose from an ongoing investigation. Police managed to apprehend Diouf after he attempted to quickly flee his home, sparking a brief chase, according to WSMV. The report details how Diouf discarded a loaded handgun, reported stolen, before being captured by authorities. Upon his arrest, officers discovered what's described as a 3D printed switch designed to illegally convert a semi-automatic rifle into a fully automatic weapon hidden inside Diouf's pants.
Adding to the list of illegal items recovered, the Metro Nashville PD's post on X stated that eight guns, numerous key fobs, programmers, and drug paraphernalia were seized during the operation. These seizures provide a small window into the depth of operations conducted by these individuals and the potential danger they presented to the public.

Diouf, described by WKRN as a repeat offender, has faced previous run-ins with the law. His arrest with Bwenge marks another chapter in what seems to be a persistently defiant stand against the rule of law. The two youths, indisputably still in their teenage years, have now to properly account for alleged actions that already map a grave portrait of lives marred by criminality.
As the community deals with the aftermath of this bust, more details will likely surface. For now, Nashville streets are safer with these illegal weapons and drugs removed, and two suspects arrested. Local authorities are working hard to stop similar crimes that endanger innocent lives in different neighborhoods.
