Just after midnight, a woman was killed when her vehicle was involved in a collision near Quince Road on Winchester. According to Action News 5, Memphis Police arrived to find the woman deceased at the scene, and another woman was quickly transported to Regional One Hospital with non-critical injuries. Officers at the site also detained a man, though details regarding his involvement have not been disclosed.
Hours before this incident, another crash occurred on Winchester Road at the intersection with Cargo. FOX13 Memphis reported that a child had been left in critical condition following the crash and was taken to LeBonheur Hospital for immediate care. Additionally, three women incurred non-critical injuries and were also taken for medical attention.
