A child, just 10 years of age, was allegedly shot in the face with an Orbeez gun, which fires small gel pellets filled with water. The incident took place last Friday on Minot Street, at approximately 4:30PM.
Authorities have circulated an image of the suspected vehicle, believed to be an older Honda Accord, and are appealing to the public for assistance. The victim was simply walking with a friend when struck by the pellet. The police have classified this act as an Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. According to the department's social media appeal, this is the only photo currently available relating to the troubling event.
