The streets of San Bernardino County are seeing a surge in law enforcement action as 'Operation Consequences' ramped up to tackle the influx of crime flooding local neighborhoods. Between May 18 and May 24, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department – Gangs/Narcotics Division, backed by patrol deputies, launched a series of search warrants, bagging some suspects in Ontario, Fontana, and Rialto, as per the SBSD - Headquarters.

In a crime sweep that reads like a crackdown narrative, officials got in touch with; gang members and individuals barred from owning guns. This aggressive operation led to the seizure of sizeable amounts of drugs, along with an arsenal of 10 firearms, including three untraceable ghost guns. A brush with the law resulted in 11 suspects facing felony charges,  as reported by the SBSD - Headquarters.

Operation Consequences isn't just a one-time show of force; it's a long-term strategy involving a collaboration of various law enforcement bodies, including the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, according to the SBSD - Headquarters. The overarching goal of these persistent operations is to stamp out violent crime, disassemble criminal gangs' peace by peace, and hunt down those illegally dealing with deadly weapons.
