The San Francisco Police Department, concluding a lengthy investigation, nabbed the Ramos-Erazo siblings on May 23 with a hefty haul of narcotics. Caught off guard at 11 PM while leaving a parking lot at 750 Bush Street, the duo allegedly had in their possession fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine base, heroin, and a significant amount of cash. Following this, searches at two Oakland residences led to the discovery of an even larger stash of drugs, according to reports.

"Drug trafficking in San Francisco is responsible for thousands of deaths and the misery of users and neighbors who live and work amongst the deadly trade," stated DA Jenkins. Tackling this blight, her office promises relentless prosecution of "brazen drug dealers." Notably, fentanyl features heavily in this case, with police detailing the overall seizures to be more than thirteen pounds of the lethal substance, alongside over four pounds of methamphetamine.
The two brothers, entering their pleas, said "not guilty" to all counts on May 29. The following preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 11. Owing to the allegations' gravity and the potential risk to public safety, the court has ruled to keep Jose and Jonathan Ramos-Erazo behind bars, denying bail pending trial.
