The search is on for Serhiy Myronenko, a 69-year-old man with dementia, who vanished in the early hours of the morning from his home in San Diego, local police reported. The San Diego Police Department has issued an urgent plea for public assistance in locating Myronenko, who was last seen on surveillance footage leaving his residence on Tierrasanta Boulevard around 2 AM, May 24.

Serhiy Myronenko, who speaks limited English and has been diagnosed with dementia, is considered to be at significant risk. He is a white male with grey hair and blue eyes, standing at 5 feet 10 inches and weighing approximately 170 pounds. According to the San Diego Police Department, he was last seen wearing red glasses, a red hat brandishing a green American dollar bill, a grey hoodie, tan shorts, grey tennis shoes, and a medical bracelet indicating his home address.

A call to action was released by the local authorities via social media, urging anyone with information about Myronenko's whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.
