
A 21-year-old woman found herself amidst gunfire Tuesday night in Chicago's Montclare neighborhood, which ended in her crashing her vehicle, Fox 32 Chicago reported. The incident occurred near the 6900 block of West Altgeld Street around 10 p.m., where the young woman was grazed in the back of her neck by a stray bullet while driving, causing her to lose control and collide.
After the shooting which disrupted the quiet of the evening, a swift response followed, as she was taken to Loyola Hospital and, despite the harrowing experience, she was listed in good condition. CBS Chicago noted the woman had to be removed from her car following the crash.
