
A 3-year-old boy was left with serious injuries following a fall from the window of a third-story building in Manchester, New Hampshire, yesterday afternoon. Officials from the Manchester Fire Department responded to the incident at approximately 1:09 p.m. at 150 Blain Street, as stated in a report by NBC Boston. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man cradling the injured child at the rear of the property.
The boy's father, the man holding him, informed the firefighters that his son had plummeted around 30 feet from the window sustaining significant injuries; the child suffered "significant head and facial trauma," and was swiftly taken to Elliot Hospital where he was met by a trauma team that had been alerted and prepped for his arrival, a sequence of events confirmed by MassLive.
