
The Boston Police Department is seeking the public's assistance to identify a suspect involved in an aggravated assault incident that occurred on November 5, 2022, at 279 Tremont Street. The incident took place around 1:48 a.m. when officers arrived on scene after reports of an assault in progress. A victim was found to have been punched in the face by an unidentified male, who then escaped in a white party bus with a group of males, according to the official Boston Police Department website.
The suspect has been described by witnesses as a light-skinned black male, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, standing between 5’7” and 5’9”, with a thin build and beard, and was last seen wearing tan-colored clothes and black high-top sneakers. The assault resulted in the victim sustaining serious brain injuries, a detail that underscores the severity of the altercation.
It was discovered through further investigation that the party bus was carrying individuals celebrating a 21st birthday, and it was headed towards the South Bay area to drop off passengers. Authorities believe that the suspect might be known to frequent areas around Albion, Dudley, Clifton, and Cottage Streets. As it stands, the Boston Police Department continues to diligently review the facts and circumstances related to the case.
