
The Boston Police Department (BPD) is asking for public assistance to identify individuals linked to a recent armed robbery in the Back Bay area. The incident, involving a knife, took place during daylight, around 12:07 PM on Sunday, June 9, according to the BPD's report. It occurred near 21 Massachusetts Avenue, a bustling part of the city known for its shops and residential blocks.
Authorities from District D-4 (South End) are handling the investigation, and the BPD has released images of the persons of interest, hoping to leverage community support in tracking down those involved while the detectives are piecing together what happened exactly, what led up to it, and why. They are also analyzing possible surveillance video and talking to witnesses in an effort to clarify the sequence of events.
