Last Wednesday, in the early hours, a Brentwood police officer on patrol near the Lone Tree Way Target parking lot came across a parked vehicle that looked out of place. The car's occupant, 57-year-old Louis Gonzalez from Pittsburg, was upfront with the patrolling officer, admitting to possessing a drug pipe. Upon searching Gonzalez's car, the officer uncovered not only the pipe but also an imitation firearm and tear gas—both illegal possessions. According to the City of Brentwood Police Department, Gonzalez was taken into custody with the items seized.
