Canadian firm Expertec, known for their vehicle upfitting solutions, is branching out into the U.S. market by setting up shop in Gilbert, Arizona. The company's move comes after it recently acquired Work Truck Solutions, a presence already established in the Greater Phoenix area. For those in the know, this signifies a dual investment—both in a physical 6,000-square-foot facility and in the partnerships cultivated in Arizona's burgeoning commercial sector, according to Gilbert, Arizona.
Gilbert's mayor, Brigette Peterson, wasted no time in trumpeting the town's commitment to supporting businesses like Expertec. Commentators point out that the mayor's reaction is not just civic cheerleading. It's reflective of a deliberate push to position Gilbert as a magnet for manufacturers. "I know Gilbert and this region remain committed to supporting strategic business alignments with Experience serving as the latest addition to our expanding manufacturing industry," Peterson expressed in a statement that was included in a press release in partnership with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
The particulars of the Gilbert facility, which will be nestled in the northwest corner of Power Road and Elliot Road, emerged from a news release on Gilbert's official government website. The new site not only marks Expertec's inaugural footprint in the United States, but according to the company, it also symbolizes a strategic pivot towards a region that values and nurtures industrial growth.
