Local establishments have been targeted by offenders who shatter front door glass to gain entry and pilfer valuables.
The most recent crimes were reported within a tight timeframe and area, suggesting a pattern or potentially coordinated efforts by the criminals involved. Locations hit by these burglaries included the 5000 Block of South Archer Avenue, the 4300 Block of South Pulaski Avenue, and several spots along South Pulaski Road. Police detail that in each incident, the offenders made forceful entry and removed property, causing not only the loss of goods but also significant damage to the businesses affected.
Descriptions of the suspects have been scarce, but authorities have reported that the individuals were seen donning dark clothing and black face masks, fleeing the scenes in a nondescript silver vehicle.
