The forecast predicts a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms past 1 a.m. Thursday carries a heavier storm threat, presenting a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., with temperatures possibly reaching a high of 90 degrees. This prediction aligns with a "Level 2 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk" and an associated "Limited Flooding Risk," as indicated by NWS advisories.
