
An incident in Dallas has led to a flurry of police activity after a shooting resulted in one death. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers received a call regarding a shooting on the 10300 block of Gardner Road at around 9:35 p.m. on June 2. Upon their arrival, they discovered 44-year-old Byron Thompkins suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency services swiftly transported Thompkins to a local hospital; however, he tragically died from his injuries. The subsequent investigation quickly identified the shooter as 63-year-old Don Solomon. Allegedly, the altercation that culminated in Thompkins' death followed an argument. Solomon is now facing a murder charge and currently resides in Dallas County Jail.
