Lawther Drive at White Rock Lake Trail on the afternoon of May 30th, the officials have turned to community members to help identify the assailant; a suspect sketch has been circulated in hopes of apprehending the individual responsible for the crime, which has rattled residents.
According to the Dallas Police Department, the attack occurred around noon when a woman was running on the trail and was ambushed from behind by a white male—who then proceeded to carry out the assault. Descriptions identify the man as roughly 5’5” in height, of slim build but with a noticeable belly, and adorned with short, clean-cut red hair and a beard, last seen wearing a blue crew neck shirt, the suspect may have subsequently sustained scratches on his face and body during the attack, details that the police hope will aid in his swift capture.
