The Boston Police Fire Investigation Unit, working swiftly, apprehended 23-year-old Everett resident Prasidda Baruwal on Saturday, attributing the blaze at The Squealing Pig to arson. Baruwal is charged with Arson of a Commercial Building, Breaking & Entering in the Nighttime to Commit a Felony, and Destruction of Personal Property, according to the official Boston Police Department statement.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning, the Boston Police Department reports an arrest was made at approximately 8:30 AM, less than 24 hours after firefighters were called to the scene of the fire.
