
The Garland Police Department is requesting the help of the public in the case of a missing person, 50-year-old Gerrad Kelley from Garland, who was last seen on Saturday, June 1, around 4:00 p.m. Kelley vanished in the vicinity of Pleasant Valley Road and Shalimar Drive, and despite an extensive search effort that included the DPS helicopter, Garland Fire and Rescue, and a drone unit, authorities have yet to find any trace of him.
As reported by the Garland Police Department, the search kicked off after Kelley’s girlfriend conveyed that he was last seen in the creek area before she had to leave due to heavy rainfall, when she returned, she discovered that Kelley was gone and only his bicycle remained behind. Kelley is identified as a white male, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, around 140 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a medium-length grey beard, last seen attired in black shorts and a grey "ARMY" t-shirt.
The police have not yet been able to piece together the events that led to Kelley's disappearance, nor has any evidence surfaced to suggest his whereabouts—his sudden absence leaving questions unanswered.
