The National Weather Service in Knoxville has predicted a gradual climb, with today's partly sunny weather hitting a high near 85 degrees. The nighttime condition is forecasted to be partly cloudy with lows around 64 degrees.
As the week progresses, Knoxville's forecast suggests clear skies and hotter days ahead. Thursday promises sunshine with an anticipated high of 89 degrees. And while the evenings offer some respite, the mercury isn't expected to dip much below the mid-60s. It's a pattern that seems set to intensify; by Friday, the NWS outlines sunny and hot conditions with a high near 92 degrees and light westward winds.
The weekend outlook from the NWS doesn't stray from the warming narrative. Highs of 92 on Saturday and even higher on Sunday, reaching an almost sweltering 94 degrees. Even the nighttime is giving up on cold relief, offering lows that stay firmly in the high 60s to low 70s. Monday's forecast calls for "A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 91," according to NWS.
