The tranquility of a Whitehaven neighborhood was disrupted last night when gunfire erupted at an apartment complex, leaving one man dead. Action News 5 reports that the incident occurred on Wilchester Court at the Summit Park Apartments, situated off Millbranch Road and East Raines Road around 11 p.m.
Upon their arrival, Memphis Police Department officers discovered the victim, who was declared dead at the scene, according to FOX13 Memphis. The suspects, described as multiple men, had fled the location by the time authorities arrived, vanishing in an unknown direction.
