Tragedy struck an apartment complex in Parkway Village, Memphis. As police say, a stabbing incident resulted in one man's death earlier this morning. According to WREG, Memphis Police were called to the scene at the 2800 block of Georgetown Court just after 9:00 a.m., where they found the victim already deceased.
Authorities swiftly detained one individual in connection with the incident; the details of what precipitated the violence remain under investigation, police said. The name of the deceased has not been released pending next of kin notification. In a more detailed report from Local Memphis, it was specified that the stabbing occurred "just west of Getwell," an area well known to the residents of southeast Memphis.
