Residents of Menlo Park and frequent visitors to Seminary Oaks Park will need to find alternative recreation spots starting June 10. The park will temporarily close for essential repairs, as announced on the City of Menlo Park's official website. The closure will last from mid-June to the end of July to allow for the replacement of worn-out play area equipment.
Exciting updates are planned, including new versions of the wave climber slide, zip slide, spiral, and crawl tubes. These changes promise a fresh and thrilling experience for parkgoers when it reopens in August.
In the meantime, the City of Menlo Park recommends visiting the new playground at Burgess Park, located at 536-598 Burgess Dr, to keep children entertained during the park's closure.
With its rich history as part of the St. Patrick Seminary, Seminary Oaks Park will soon return with enhanced features while retaining its historic charm. The park spans 3.51 acres and will be back in action by the end of July with brand-new play equipment for all to enjoy.
