Miami's culinary scene is making its mark in Katy, with the opening of a new Pincho Burgers and Kebabs location set to tantalize the local Texan taste buds. Infusing classic American fare with a Latin twist, this Miami-based establishment is already stirring up excitement among foodies eager to experience its unique blend of flavors. According to the Houston Chronicle, the doors swung open on June 7 at 2710 West Grand Parkway North.
Pincho's co-owner Otto Othman, a Brazilian native, sought to carve out a niche in the crowded food landscape by bringing the vibrant street foods of Brazil directly to American palates. "The foods that you find in the streets of Brazil were a big inspiration for what the brand is," Othman told the Houston Chronicle. Othman and his team seem to have meticulously chosen Katy for its diverse demographic makeup which mirrors that of South Florida, hoping to replicate the Miami success at this latest outpost.
Fresh on the dining scene, Pincho proudly showcases its signature burger – a beef patty generously topped with traditional fixings and the addition of potato sticks and a “secret sauce”. But it's the Latin-flavored twists, like guava ketchup, that set their creations apart. Embracing regional preferences, Covering Katy reports, a special feature – The Tremendo Burger, topped with a spice-kissed guava bacon jam and fried queso blanco – is available until June 30, signaling a bold welcome to the local food scene.
Regular operating hours for Pincho have been set from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and an hour later on weekends, closing at 11 p.m. This Katy opening marks the company's fourth Texas location and 14th nationwide.
