A series of fires in Norcross, believed to be set intentionally using Molotov cocktails, have led to a manhunt for a 61-year-old woman, identified by authorities as Hong T. Huynh. The Gwinnett County Fire Department responded to two separate house fires early Saturday morning, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. The first blaze, reported at 5:45 a.m. on the 6000 block of Buckingham Court NW, resulted in serious injuries to a resident and displaced a family of four. The second incident, occurring just miles away on the 1300 block of Turners Ridge Drive, was reported at 6:04 a.m., where moderate damage was inflicted, and six individuals, including two minors, were displaced.

Investigations have revealed that the fires may have been sparked by Molotov cocktails. Court documents disclosed details of the incendiary devices, consisting of "plastic bags filled with gasoline," "wrapped-up napkins," and "bottles with the napkins inside lying right next to the gasoline bags", as described by a neighborhood resident, Graciela, in an interview with Atlanta News First. The intent to harm was particularly evident in the Buckingham Court incident, which left the structure severely damaged and a family member hospitalized with significant injuries.

The American Red Cross is currently assisting the displaced families. As for the suspect, Hong T. Huynh, the Gwinnett County Fire Marshal's Office has issued multiple arrest warrants. However, the motive behind the arson attacks remains undisclosed. The Gwinnett County Fire Investigations Section and the Georgia Arson Control Hotline are urging anyone with information regarding Huynh's whereabouts or the incidents to come forward, offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Community members have expressed a deep desire for justice, seeking accountability for the seemingly unprovoked attacks on their neighbors. "I was like who would have done that because they’re honestly like really peaceful. The dad comes out in the morning and sees his son to the bus stop. The mom minds her business, the kids mind their business at school," Graciela told Atlanta News First, painting a picture of a tranquil family life disrupted by these violent events.
