
In a press release disseminated on June 4, the Frisco Police Department reported the arrest of 51-year-old Christopher John Greene of Plano on charges related to sexual offenses against a child and child pornography. According to the Frisco Police, their Crimes Against Children Unit has been investigating Greene since September 2023, according to the Frisco Police Department.
Greene was initially arrested and charged on April 17, with Sexual Assault of a Child—an offense classified as a 2nd-degree felony, which can lead to a prison term ranging from two to 20 years and may include a fine of up to $10,000. Subsequently released on a $75,000 bond with the investigation still casting a wide net, detectives uncovered additional evidence warranting more charges. On May 30, Green was again apprehended, this time for Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography; this is deemed a 3rd-degree felony, carrying two to 10 years of imprisonment and fines up to $10,000. After posting a $50,000 bond, he was released from the Collin County Detention Facility.
The Frisco Police are considering the possibility of Greene's involvement in more offending acts dating as far back as the 1990s.
